Easy-Peasy Pink Stewed Pear

Sweeten up your autumn with this easy stewed pear dessert featuring our Pink Mix. With just a few simple ingredients, you can create a warm, spiced treat that’s perfect for cosy nights in. Whether you’re enjoying it solo or serving it up for friends, this dish is sure to impress!

Ingredients:

  • 1 pear, chopped
  • 1 tsp butter (or vegan alternative)
  • A splash of water
  • 2 tsps LECCA Pink Mix
  • Sweetener of your choice (to taste)
  • Slivered almonds, whipped cream, or a sprig of mint (optional)

Instructions:

  1. melt the butter: In a pan over medium heat, melt the butter and add a splash of water to create some steam.
  2. add the pear and spices: Add the chopped pear and sprinkle with the LECCA Pink Spice Mix. Stir to coat the pears evenly with the spices.
  3. stew until soft: Cook the pears gently until they are soft and the water has mostly evaporated.
  4. add sweetener: Add your preferred sweetener to taste, adjusting for your desired level of sweetness.
  5. caramelise: Once the water has evaporated, let the pears cook for a little longer to caramelise slightly, creating a rich, sweet flavour.
  6. serve and enjoy: Serve warm with a sprinkle of slivered almonds, a dollop of whipped cream, or a sprig of mint—or all three for the ultimate indulgence!
