Ingredients:

  •  1 ear of corn per 2 people
  • 2 tablespoons LECCA Orange Mix
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil or melted butter
  • Salt to taste

Instructions:

  1. prep: bring a large pot of water to a boil. toss in the corn and let it simmer for about 5 minutes to soften up—this makes slicing a breeze.
  2. cut: carefully take the corn out of the water and let it cool just enough to handle. stand each ear of corn upright on a cutting board. using a sharp knife, slice down the middle to halve it, then slice each half again to create quarters—now you’ve got your corn ribs!
  3. season: in a small bowl, mix up the LECCA Orange Spice Mix with olive oil. give your corn ribs a good coating, making sure they’re all covered. sprinkle with salt to taste.
  4. roast: preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F). lay out the seasoned corn ribs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. roast in the oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the edges start to crisp up and turn golden.
  5. serve: take the corn ribs out of the oven and let them cool just a bit. serve them up as a fun, flavour-packed snack, side dish, or party nibble. they’re best enjoyed hot and crispy, just like proper ribs!
